Our house is in a quiet location right at the foot of the Kahler Asten and the Sauerland Höhenflug long-distance hiking trail. In the area around our hotel there are many opportunities for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. In winter there is of course skiing, tobogganing or cross-country skiing.

The Altastenberg ski carousel is 300 metres from the house. The entrance to the Winterberg ski carousel and the Winterberg bike park on the Kappe adventure mountain are about 3 km away. The cross-country skiing trails are right behind the house.

Travel to Winterberg via the B480 or B236. The Altastenberg district can be reached via the Hochsauerland Höhenstraße and Astenstraße.
